20th Anniversary of Tiananmen (June 4th) Massacre - North American Tour of Mr. Szeto Wah & Mr. Richard Tsoi
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Tiananmen (June 4th) Massacre. To help commemorate the anniversary, Mr. Szeto Wah and Mr. Richard Tsoi will be visiting six North American cities: San Francisco, Vancouver, Calgary, Boston, New York, and Toronto from April 5 to April 23.
A former Hong Kong legislator, Mr. Szeto is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in support of Patriotic Democratic Movement in China and Mr. Tsoi is the Vice-chair.
Mr. Szeto is an iconic figure and spiritual leader of many democracy advocates in Hong Kong. Mr. Tsoi was the key organizer and spokesperson of the legendary July 1, 2003 demonstration of half a million people in Hong Kong. They will speak about the significance of the 20th anniversary of June 4th and share with their North American friends and supporters their analysis of the road to democracy for both Hong Kong and China.
At the press conference, we will introduce the details of their activities in Vancouver from April 8 to April 12.
