“Day and Night on the Square” Student Camp
2013 is the 24th anniversary of June 4th Tiananmen Massacre. The Alliance and the Hong Kong Professional Teachers' Union are going to transform Victoria Park into Tiananmen Square on June 1st, where students can "travel back in time" to the Square, and experience the history of June 4th. We will also re-enact the Democracy University, where scholars, journalists and student leaders of the 89' movement will recount their experience on the Square. On June 2nd, an art fair will be held where we will pass on the spirit of Tiananmen though the use of artwork.
