An Invitation to Gorbachev

"Will You Join Us, Mr Gorbachev?"

Students decide to hold mass demonstration and to invite Gorbachev to address them on the campus of Beijing University when he comes to China on official visit on the 15th. To support the Beijing students and to participate in the demonstration, 500 students from Tianjin have planned to come to Beijing by bicycle, and a group of Shanghai students was also on their way to the capital.
