About Alliance The Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (the "Alliance") was established on May 21st 1989 with the purpose of supporting patriotic democratic movements in China. It has become the largest grassroots pro-democracy advocacy group in Hong Kong and is comprised of over 200 base level, labour, councillor office, religious, student, women and political commentary group members. The Alliance has five operational goals Release the dissidents Rehabilitate the 1989 pro-democracy movement Demand accountability of the June 4th massace End one-party dictatorship Bulid a democratic China Past Activities Records
