Kite Flying for Democracy

Theme: Students who carried out a peaceful protest in Tiananmen Square in 1989, confronted with courage the communist regime which controlled the army, trying to interfere with the helicopters by flying kites.  Today we imitate those Beijing students, flying kites to express our eagerness for democracy, with a view that democracy will fly to China with the kites.
Date: May 25 (Sunday)
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Place: Country Park, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung
Time of Assembly: 1:00 p.m.
Place of Assembly: Macpherson Playground, Mongkok
Remarks: (a) Participants can also take a Route 91 bus at the bus terminus of the Hollywood Plaza in the Diamond Hill MTR Station to go to Clear Water Bay, or take a maxicab Route 103M at the Tseung Kwan O MTR Station and alight at the road junction of Clear Water Bay Road and Tai Au Mun Road, and walk forward along Clear Water Bay Road for about 20 minutes to the Tai Heng Dun in the Clear Water Bay country park ( i.e. the tourists centre of the Clear Water Bay country park )
