VI. A Kite for Democracy

During the 1989 democracy movement, the students protesting peacefully on the Tiananmen Square never showed any fear, even when threatened by the army. When the government sent in helicopters, the students flew kites to interfere with them. Today we imitate their act, to express our longing for democracy and our hope that one day, the kite of democracy will fly above China.
