Joint Public Statements for the Rehabilitation of June 4

Theme: A public statement (in Chinese) will be placed in Apple Daily.
Date: May 30 (Friday) and June 4 (Wednesday)
The public statement is:
     “We (the undersigned) declare our unceasing and whole-hearted support for the patriotic democratic movements!
      We demand that the dissidents be released;
                that the democratic movement of 1989 be vindicated ;
                that those who ordered the massacre be held accountable;
                that one-party dictatorship be ended; and
                that democracy be realized in China
This year, the Olympic Game is hosted by Beijing along with the 19th anniversary of June 4.  The HK Alliance recommends the “One World, Same Human Rights, One Dream and Vindication of June 4” as the theme.  We urge the Chinese government o fulfill the promise of hosting an Olympic Games honoring Human Right. In addition, we sincerely hope that they can grant the dream of many advocates of democracy and human right from the global and local Hong Kong citizens-Vindication of June 4. 
We strongly believe that democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law will one day appear in China!
Remark: Suggested donations for co-signing the joint public statement are: HK$50 for each organization, and HK$10 for each person.
